In 2005, White Widow (Carla Patullo) released her debut album, No Wood To Knock On. Producers Iain McNally (Amanda Marshall) and L. Stu Young (Prince) brought intricate production to White Widow’s passionate songwriting to create the 13-track album, an electric, rock-infused musical diary of a frustrated search for luck, sentiment and certainty. Several tracks from the album are featured in the recent MTI horror film ICE QUEEN and have appeared on the daytime television show THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

In 2007 White Widow released a second album IT’S MY TRAGEDY. In support of the new record WW toured the US and traveled to Italy to perform in the AREZZO WAVE FESTIVAL. IT’S MY TRAGEDY was mixed by John Plymale (Squirrel Nut-Zippers, Superchunk) and mastered by Gene Paul (Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin).

Currently, White Widow is in the studio recording a third album.

Influences include Lindsey Buckingham, PJ Harvey, and Courtney Love to name a few.
